The reason, researchers propose, is families believe that quality time gives children an educational advantage setting them up for life, or at the very least, those inevitable college admissions.

At Citibabes, we see firsthand the benefits of enriched play and activities at school and we always encourage families to try our projects at home.

Sometimes, though, parents can feel intimidated, ill-equipped or too busy to get creative on their own, which is why we’ve created our CBTV series of How-To Videos that are as inspirational as they are instructional, and easy enough to try during downtime after dinner with the fam, or on a rainy day, one-on-one with your tot.

From art projects – to our soon-to-be-released outdoor series for summertime fun – all of the activities are process, not product-oriented focusing on self-expression… for both child and adult!
