Christina Ohly Evans – Travel
As an original member of the team behind iVillage, and one of the producers of its flagship brand, Parent Soup, Christina has worked in the online content and creative development space for the past sixteen years. She was a creative director at Oxygen Media, an entrepreneur-in-residence for internet incubator, idealab!, and has consulted for AOL UK, Yahoo Europe, UrbanBaby, and Rodale among others. Christina’s background also includes work in print media (US Magazine, Time Warner publishing), movies (Savoy Pictures) and television (Oxygen Media).
For the past five years she has written extensively for DailyCandy and has served as Editor, DailyCandy Kids NYC, where she covers the areas of food, design, and lifestyle. She was a travel writer for Cookie magazine online and continues to write about travel for AOL/Disney and babyccino. Christina graduated from Williams College, lived in London for five years, and now resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
Debra Flashenberg – Support Doula and Prenatal Yoga
Deb Flashenberg CD(DONA), LCCE is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music. She has spent most of her life performing and was introduced to yoga through a choreographer in 1997. Soon after embarking on the path as a yoga teacher, she founded the Prenatal Yoga Center in NYC in 2002, where she continues to teach prenatal yoga and one of the most extensive Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training currently being offered in the country.
After being witness to several “typical” hospital births, Debra felt it was important to move beyond the yoga room and be present in the birthing room. In 2003, Debra attended her first birth as a DONA certified labor support doula. To date, Debra has attended about 85 births. She is continuously in awe of the beauty and brilliance of birth. In 2006, Debra received her certification as a Lamaze® Certified Childbirth Educator. In September of 2007, she completed a Midwife Assistant Program with Ina May Gaskin, Pamela Hunt and many of the other Farm Midwives at The Farm Midwifery Center in Tennessee.
Debra is also a regular contributor to Mindful Mama, International Doula and Midwifery Today.
Amy Tara Koch – Maternity Lifestyle
Amy Tara Koch is a style expert, author, journalist and all around fashion aficionado. She contributes to Town & Country, The New York Times, The New York Observer, Inc, Travel & Leisure, American Way, Self, Chicago Magazine, NPR and Huffington Post. Koch is also a style expert for Vogue and Twitter Moms. Koch’s first book Bump It Up: Transforming Your Pregnancy into the Ultimate Style Statement was published by Random House/Ballantine in March 2010 and immediately touted as a must read by outlets from the New York Times to Pregnancy Magazine.
In addition to her media presence, Koch is in demand as a speaker and consultant. She fires up an audience, convincing them that trends and style are applicable and accessible. Her clients range from Pampers, Tide, La Croix, Frederic Fekkai, W Hotels, Macy’s, Unilever, Foote, Cone & Belding, the Chicago Fashion Foundation, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and McDonalds Corporation.
Amy lives in Chicago with her husband and two daughters.
Elizabeth Horsburgh Leach – Family Lifestyle
Elizabeth Horsburgh Leach is a mom of two delightfully sassy little girls. She is a regular contributor to Cool Mom Picks, Momtrends and What Every Baby Needs. Elizabeth is also a published playwright whose plays have been produced in NYC and London. She loves finding cool, styling gear and clothes for kids and is happy to be sharing her ideas on Citiscoop.

Matt Schneider – Fatherhood
Matt Schneider is an at-home father of two boys, Max (5) and Sam (2). Matt is also a founding member and co-organizer for the NYC Dads Group, a community of nearly 300 active Dads in the New York City area. The group meets weekly to give members (and their kids) the opportunity to socialize, share ideas, and support each other.
