Tracey Frost, CEO & Co-founder
Born and raised in Australia, Tracey has lived in New York City for over a decade. With a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology in Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University Graduate School of Management, Tracey worked in banking for 13 years, most recently as a director in commodity derivatives at Deutsche Bank. With an entrepreneurial spirit, throughout her years in finance, Tracey dreamed of starting her own business, and after some research, astutely identified the need in the parenting marketplace for a hip, modern club for families. In 2005, she launched Citibabes SoHo, a 10,000 foot flagship location in the heart of downtown Manhattan offering families an unparalleled program of children’s education, a preschool, 1,500 sq ft indoor playground, parenting seminars, family café, adult gym with personalized fitness options, and a retail store. Tracey endeavored to create a warm community where parents could share in the joys and challenges of raising children, a place that offered enriched family experiences, and memories that last a lifetime.
With a revamped website, magazine and recently launched blog, Citibabes has expanded beyond the four walls of the clubs to become a premier parenting resource for families across the globe.
Tracey and her husband Filip live in Tribeca with their two young daughters, Chloe and Natasha, who can often be found buzzing around the club, humming notes from a Big CitiRock class.
